Recommended Action Plan

• Install Bioxide (or Ferric Chloride) chemical feed system at Lift Station A

  • Lease chemical feed and storage equipment from supplier (if possible)
  • Low initial capital cost, relatively high annual O&M cost
  • Provide a means for control before summer 2008

• Construct a chemical access point on the force main

  • Provide ability to pilot other chemicals
  • Evaluate potential to reduce ongoing annual O&M costs

• Proceed with finalizing design for headworks

  • Sized to divert a portion of flows into lagoons
